ENXERTO DE TECIDO CONJUNTIVO SUBEPITELIAL ASSOCIADO À TÉCNICA DO TÚNEL FECHADO LATERALMENTE PARA O TRATAMENTO DE RECESSÃO GENGIVAL UNITÁRIA

Resumo

As recessões gengivais são descritas como um deslocamento da margem gengival apical à junção cemento-esmalte dos elementos dentários. A exposição da superfície radicular causada pela recessão gengival, além de comprometer a esta provação e o controle de biofilme, pode provocar maior suscetibilidade a lesões de cárie radicular, hipersensibilidade dentinária e lesões cervicais não cariosas. Diante do exposto, o presente estudo teve como objetivo relatar a técnica de enxerto de tecido conjuntivo subepitelial associado ao túnel fechado lateralmente para recobrimento radicular em recessão gengival unitária Classe II de Miller e RT1 de Cairo, em paciente com fenótipo gengival fino. Paciente I. V. P., 25 anos de idade, gênero feminino, compareceu à clínica de Odontologia do Centro Universitário da Serra Gaúcha - FSG relatando um “deslocamento” em sua gengiva na região do elemento 31, o qual comprometia a estética do seu sorriso e dificultava o controle de biofilme. O tratamento proposto foi o recobrimento radicular através de enxerto de tecido conjuntivo subepitelial associado à técnica do túnel fechado lateralmente. Esta abordagem cirúrgica é uma alternativa eficaz para o tratamento de recessões gengivais isoladas na região anterior mandibular, uma vez que possibilita o recobrimento radicular em áreas com deficiência de tecido queratinizado, especialmente em pacientes com fenótipo gengival fino. Além disso, viabiliza o fechamento passivo das margens do retalho, minimizando a tensão sobre o enxerto e proporcionando resultados funcionais satisfatórios.
